Chelsea Davis
I work with adults unraveling the impact of betrayal trauma, broken trust, and the relational patterns that took root long before the relationship they’re in now. Many of the people I support are trying to make sense of why earlier experiences like childhood trauma, attachment wounds, or growing up in homes where emotions weren’t safe, keep showing up in how they connect with others as adults. Whether you’re recovering from a partner’s infidelity, untangling the long shadow of a betrayal you haven’t fully named yet, or starting to see how old wounds keep getting touched in present-day relationships, this is the work I’m here for.
People often reach out after discovering a partner’s affair and not knowing how to live in their own life anymore. Others come in because they keep ending up with emotionally unavailable partners, or because they’ve “done the work” and still feel reactive, anxious, or shut down when things get close. Some are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, or a major life transition that has surfaced things they thought were behind them.
Therapy with me is direct, collaborative, and grounded in honesty. I’ll name what I’m noticing, ask the questions that don’t always get asked, and bring humour and lightness in when the moment calls for it. My role isn’t to tell you what your story means; it’s to help you see it clearly enough to decide what to do with it.
My work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), with elements of Narrative Therapy. Depending on what you bring in, our work might focus on the emotions underneath your reactions, the attachment patterns shaping how you relate, the different internal parts that show up in conflict, or the story you’ve been telling yourself about what happened.
I aim to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. I value honesty and compassion in the work we do together, and I often bring humour and lightness into the room when it helps people feel more comfortable and human in the process.
I work with adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, or the impact of trauma in their lives. This includes individuals healing from betrayal trauma, relational wounds, and childhood trauma, as well as those navigating racial trauma or cultural pressures.
People often reach out when they feel emotionally overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure how to make sense of experiences that still affect them long after they happened. Many are trying to understand repeating relationship patterns, rebuild trust after betrayal, or work through unresolved experiences from earlier in life.
My approach to therapy is steady, thoughtful, and compassionate. I aim to create a warm and inclusive space where people can explore their experiences openly and develop greater clarity, resilience, and self understanding.
My work integrates Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and EMDR.
As an immigrant woman of colour, I understand how identity and cultural expectations can shape personal experiences in complex ways. I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and able to explore their experiences with honesty and care.
an evidence-based approach that helps process and heal distressing memories by targeting how they are stored in the brain. This can be especially effective for those recovering from trauma, reducing emotional triggers and fostering resilience. Book a consultation with me to see if EMDR could be helpful for you.

I work with adults navigating the challenges of infidelity, betrayal, and relational trauma, often rooted in childhood wounds. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with emotional blocks, or carrying unresolved pain from the past, I’m here to support you.
Using evidence-based approaches like attachment-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, and CBT, I tailor our work to your needs. Together, we’ll uncover the root causes of your struggles, rebuild trust, and create pathways to meaningful and lasting healing.
I help clients address the impacts of betrayal trauma, relational childhood wounds, and difficulties stemming from emotionally unavailable or immature parents of adult children. Whether it’s strengthening relationships, navigating life transitions, processing grief, or working through trauma and C-PTSD, I’ll guide you toward clarity, connection, and resilience.
This work means the world to me, not only professionally but also personally. As someone who has experienced the impact of chaotic childhood events and betrayal trauma, I understand how deeply these experiences can affect adulthood. Understanding how they have shaped me and learning about my own nervous system has been a crucial part of my healing journey, which in turn motivates my work with clients. I look forward to accompanying you on your personal journey.
Who We Are
We’re Olive and Peanut—two canine companions who bring a little extra warmth and humor to the team. Olive is the spirited and rambunctious one, always ready for an adventure or a game of chase, while Peanut takes a more wise and responsible approach, ensuring everything (and everyone) is on track—including Olive. Together, we’re also allegedly in charge of the practice’s social media presence (if there’s a typo, blame Olive).
How We Help
Our contributions to the team include spreading smiles, keeping spirits high, and managing the important task of “content creation” (which mostly involves Olive photobombing Peanut’s attempts at professional headshots). Olive brings boundless energy and creativity, while Peanut ensures everything is balanced and aligned—though her approval process often involves snacks.
Challenges We Help You Overcome
Whether it’s by making you laugh with Olive’s zoomies or helping you feel grounded with Peanut’s steady presence, we’re here to remind you to take breaks, find joy in the moment, and not take life too seriously (or at least remember to caption your Instagram posts).
A Little More About Us
We love long walks, tasty snacks, and belly rubs (seriously, belly rubs). Olive specializes in squirrel patrol and making sure no moment is too serious, while Peanut focuses on thoughtful observation and keeping the snack distribution fair. When we’re not busy inspiring social media posts, you’ll find us napping, playing, or begging for just one more treat.
We specialize in helping individuals heal from infidelity, betrayal, and childhood relational wounds.
Our therapists meet you where you are and tailor therapy to your unique needs.
